A notice that omits any of the elements listed above may not be effective, and we may ask you to supply what is missing before we act on it.

We remove or disable access to material that is the subject of a complete notice, and we tell the user what was removed and why.

If your content was removed and you believe it was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the agent above. It must include: your physical or electronic signature; identification of the material removed and the location at which it appeared before removal; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; your name, address and telephone number; and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside the United States, for any judicial district in which we may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who gave the original notice or an agent of that person.

We forward it to the complainant. If they do not file suit within the statutory period, we restore the material.

Accounts with repeated valid notices against them are closed.
