Account safety, buyer protection and disputes
We're not going to tell you boosting is risk-free, because it isn't. What we can do is be specific about what the risks are, what we do to reduce them, and what happens when something goes wrong.
How buyer protection works
GainGuard is our buyer and seller protection. It holds the money safely until the work is done, and steps in if something goes wrong.
When you pay, the money goes to Gain Arcade, not to the booster. They can see the order and start work, but they cannot touch it. After a delivery you have 3 days to check it over, or 7 days if you bought an account. There are three ways it ends:
- You're happy. Confirm, and the booster gets paid straight away.
- You go quiet. When the window runs out it goes to the booster automatically. We remind you 12 hours before that, and that reminder can't be switched off.
- Something's wrong. Raise it and nothing moves in either direction until it's sorted.
Cancelling before work starts is always a full refund, no questions and no fee. We only charge commission on completed orders.
What we do on piloted orders
- Region-matched residential VPN. The booster connects from your region, so the login doesn't look like it came from another continent.
- No recovery changes, ever. Boosters never change your email, password recovery, phone number or linked accounts. Any attempt is an instant, permanent ban.
- Appear offline by default on every game that supports it.
- Agreed play windows. If you say “not between 6 and 9pm”, that's part of the order, and breaking it is grounds for a refund.
- No cheats, scripts, exploits or bot lobbies. Not as a policy we recite, as the fastest way to get an account banned, which makes it our problem too. Any booster caught using them is removed and their escrow returns to buyers.
What we can't do: stop a publisher noticing an unusual win rate, or a friend seeing you play at 4am. That's what the “balanced performance” add-on and play windows are for.
Keep everything in the order chat
The order chat is the only record support can read. If a dispute is opened, we look at what was agreed there, nothing else. Moving to Discord, Telegram or email means that when something goes wrong there is no evidence, and there is very little we can do for you.
Never send account credentials anywhere else, and never send them before payment. A seller who asks you to pay outside Gain Arcade is trying to remove your protection, and reporting them takes one click.
Disputes
You can open a dispute from any order that has been claimed and isn't yet completed. Buyer protection freezes the moment you do.
- Not delivered by the deadline. Refunded in full, unless the chat shows you agreed to an extension.
- Delivered but not what was ordered. Partial or full refund depending on what was actually completed.
- Constraints ignored, wrong heroes, played outside the agreed window, not solo queue when solo queue was bought. Refund or partial refund.
- Account actioned during a piloted order. Full refund, and the booster is investigated. We can't reverse a publisher's suspension, and we won't pretend otherwise.
Refunds
Card refunds go back to the original payment method and usually land in 5–10 business days. Gift card and code purchases are refundable up until the code is revealed. After that a dispute is the route, and a code that fails to redeem is refunded.
We don't hold a “store credit only” policy. Money that comes back comes back the way it went in.
- Prefer self-play or duo when the account matters more than the rank.
- Turn on two-factor on your game account, it survives a boost and protects you after.
- Change your game password after a piloted order finishes. Every time.
- Buy the balanced performance profile if a suspicious win rate would bother you.
- Read the booster's recent reviews, not just the average.
